$10: That’s the monthly cost of using the Calendly Standard plan. One year will cost you $120.
You might think it’s a fair cost, but wait till you add more seats to your pricing plan. Let’s do the maths:
Cost is one of the main reasons businesses search for alternatives to Calendly. In fact, many tools, like Zencal, offer better features at half the price.
That’s why I spent days searching for and testing ten Calendly alternatives. I compared their key features and pricing plans and created various scheduling pages to book more meetings.
Here are the 5 best Calendly alternatives I recommend after my tests.
Zencal is first on our list of Calendly alternatives because it allows users to create branded booking pages, manage clients, offer discounts, and generate advanced meeting reports.
Take the booking page creation, for example. You can enter basic information like the page name, meeting duration, and place.
One of my favorite settings is “Collect Reviews.” It allows you to send review requests to attendees after the meeting.
After clicking the review request link, they will be redirected to a page to rate their experience and provide additional comments.
Finally, you can display these reviews on your booking page to build trust and increase the number of bookings. It’s an underrated feature, and I’m so proud we are the only one offering it via Zencal.
But let’s return to our booking page creation.
In the advanced settings, select your calendar layout (weekly or monthly) and fix the maximum number of participants. Add fields like phone numbers and notes, and set up a custom thank you page.
Oh, there is more! Set the number of hours or days to reschedule and cancel a meeting. You can even choose the number of times an attendee can reschedule the same meeting.
Next, add questions attendees must answer when booking. You can choose between short and long text, website, number, single choice, multiple choice, and checkbox.
Zencal also lets you enable the confirmation, reminder, rescheduling, and cancellation messages.
But we took things up a notch. Now, you can create custom email messages to send to participants before or after meetings.
Finally, after playing with Zencal for a few minutes, you can create a beautiful booking page like this one.
You can view the live page here. It’s a demo booking page; feel free to play with it by booking meetings as an attendee. We will not attend the meeting, retain your email address, or contact you.
1. Clients Management
Zencal is also a CRM, allowing you to manage your clients effectively. Every person who books a meeting through your Zencal booking pages will appear here.
If you click “See Details,” you will view any upcoming and past meetings with the client. If you offer paid meetings or consultations, you will also see the total amount of money the client spent.
2. Booking Page Branding
The best Calendly alternative must allow businesses to use their branding on their scheduling page. Thanks to this feature, you can use your own logo and cover image.
Let’s also set your brand colors to create a unique customer experience.
3. Availability
The availability feature is one of my favorite things about Zencal. First, you will see a calendar preview showing your schedule on the booking page based on the selected meeting duration.
Scroll down, and you will see additional availability settings. For example, add a break between meetings or choose the minimum number of hours before someone can book a meeting.
Of course, you can select your available days and hours.
Next on our list of the best Calendly alternatives is Clockwise.
Like Calendly and Zencal, Clockwise allows you to create an appointment booking page to share with clients and colleagues.
To access this feature, go to Links and create a new link. There, name your booking page, set multiple booking times, and choose the meeting place.
For instance, I named my page “Team Collab” and allowed people to choose between 30-minute, 1-hour, and 1h30m meetings. I also chose Google Meet as the meeting place.
I particularly like the option to customize the page further. To demonstrate, I could make the page a single-use link. This means nobody can book again after the first booking, which helps create urgency when selling.
Finally, after playing with the tool for a few minutes, I created my first booking page with Clockwise.
1. Links (Booking Pages)
You are looking for a Calendly alternative to create better booking pages, so I wanted to cover this feature further.
The Links feature also has a “Maximize Availability” setting in “Protect Your Focus.” It allows you to maximize your availability by allowing more bookings. Use this if you want to allow more sales or work meetings.
The “Balance Availability and Focus Time” and “Protect Focus Time” create fewer booking times on the booking page. I only use it to allow fewer meetings to focus on other tasks.
2. Prism and AI Calendar
The Prism feature is like your Google Calendar. Here, you can see booked meetings or create new ones. Check out my article on the best meeting schedulers to see more about this feature.
Prism also comes with an AI Calendar feature. Using your prompt, it will schedule an event and send an invite to the guest.
Reclaim AI is a comprehensive Calendly alternative that allows you to create booking pages, sync calendars, and create and prioritize tasks and habits.
The Scheduling Links feature lets you add team members and synchronize their Google Calendars with yours. What does it do?
With this setting, an employee scheduling a meeting will see if the chosen time works for every team member. Simply put, they will see if every member is available at the selected time; email is unnecessary.
Of course, I also had the option to select multiple meeting places, like Google Meet or Zoom. I could also add my phone number or enter a physical address.
Let’s choose many meeting durations in the duration tab, such as 30 minutes or 1 hour.
Finally, here is the meeting booking page l created with Reclaim AI.
These features and more make Reclaim AI one of the best alternatives to Calendly.
1. Scheduling Links (Booking Page)
Just like I did for Clockwise, I will review the booking page feature in more detail. I want to ensure you have all the necessary information to choose the best Calendly alternative.
The scheduling link let me choose the rolling time window, which I set to 30 minutes.
This means people can only book meetings starting at least 30 minutes from the current time. If it’s currently 3:00 PM, the earliest available time slot will be 3:30 PM.
I also like the “Start of next bookable day” setting. When enabled, attendees can only schedule a meeting the next eligible day. If today is Monday, they can only book a call tomorrow (Tuesday).
2. Priorities Management
The priorities tab allowed me to see my Scheduling Links, tasks, and habits. It arranges all events in a Kanban view based on their importance: Critical, high priority, medium priority, and low priority.
I also liked the fact I could change an event priority by dragging and dropping it to the corresponding slot.
3. Planner
I could not move to the following meeting scheduler software without discussing the Planner feature. Just like Zencal, Reclaim AI also comes with a Google Calendar-like interface. Here, I viewed current tasks and created new ones.
The right tab shows current tasks, set time, and priorities.
Finally, you can start a timer on any task, past or current.
Doodle is one of the best Calendly alternatives, and it allows you to create a meeting poll page where attendees vote for the best meeting time. Instead of sending emails or choosing the meeting time yourself, every attendee gives their opinion directly on the booking page.
Here is how to do that. Select “Group Poll” from your dashboard.
Name and describe the meeting poll page and choose the video conferencing place (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Cisco Webex).
In the “Add your times” section, I can select my preferred meeting duration, times, and days. If you connect your personal calendar, Doodle will show existing events so you can avoid conflicts.
Unfortunately, Doodle shows ads on the Poll settings page, and you need to upgrade to the Pro plan to remove them. You also need this plan to set a deadline for the poll and send automatic reminders.
Finally, click “Create” to create and share the poll with your team members.
Your meeting page will be similar to the image below. Once someone opens the link, they will immediately see who created the poll and a button to start voting. Unfortunately, they will also see ads.
The attendant can:
1. Booking Page
The Booking Page feature is the same as Meeting Topics in Zencal. Here, you create a meeting scheduling page by naming it and setting a link and video conferencing location.
I then chose the meeting duration and rolling days (how far in advance participants can book).
Thanks to the availability setting, I select my meeting times and days. For instance, I allowed meetings on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The pro plan also enables payment by connecting your Stripe account. This allows you to offer paid meetings and consultations.
With the Custom Invite Fileds, you can add questions for attendees on the booking page.
Here is what my booking page looks like. Sadly, there were ads on my page, which decreased my professionalism and trust.
2. One on One Meeting
This feature allowed me to create a page where someone chooses a meeting from a list of times I selected. Use this to train a team member or meet a client but only have a few hours to spare.
Like the Booking Page feature, you can pick your availability.
The live page will be similar to other Doodle booking pages.
Google Calarguably the most popular online calendar, with over 500 million monthly users. Chances are you use this calendar to manage your daily meetings and tasks.
Using a Google Calendar, you can create meeting events by choosing the time, adding guests, and generating a Google Meet link.
However, On July 18, 2024, Google Calendar introduced a new feature called “Appointment Schedule.”
First, go to Create > Appointment Schedule to access the tool.
Now, let me share my experience with the new meeting scheduler in Google Calendar.
1. Appointment Schedule
Google Calendar allows you to name your scheduling page and select the appointment duration time. Unfortunately, you cannot choose multiple duration times, like 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Next, choose availability. I set mine to Monday-Friday, 10 am to 8 pm. This will allow me to meet clients and colleagues in UTC, EST, PT, CST, and JST time zones.
2. Scheduling Window
This setting allows me to limit the time range in which people can book appointments. To illustrate, I set my scheduling page to become unusable on February 24th, 2025.
I also set my maximum time to book an appointment to 7 days. This means that attendees can book meetings 7 days in advance. Finally, I set the minimum time to book an appointment to 4 hours. The attendee can only book a meeting 4 hours in advance.
In the Booked Appointment Settings, set your Buffer time and maximum bookings per day.
Finally, like every good Calendly alternative, you can add a meeting place like Google Meet, or discuss via phone or in person. Unfortunately, you cannot add third-party video conferencing apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
3. Booking Form
Let’s edit the Appointment Schedule Form by adding more items like phone number, company name, or company size.
Finally, share or embed your booking page to your site.
There you go! In this article, I shared the best Calendly alternatives on the market. We saw how tools like Zencal and Clockwise help you create outstanding booking pages.
We also compared key features and pricing plans to help you make the best decision. Now, choose the best meeting scheduler software to manage team and client meetings.
I recommend testing Zencal because of its fantastic features. Remote teams, sales teams, coaches, nutritionists, psychologists, dentists, and lawyers use it to
