Forcing timezone

In some cases, clients may be traveling or in different timezones, causing confusion with booking times.

The problem

By default, Zencal shows times in the client's detected timezone. This can cause issues when:

  • Client is traveling abroad
  • VPN changes detected location
  • Browser timezone is incorrect

The solution

You can force a specific timezone for embedded calendars:

  1. Go to embed settings
  2. Find the timezone option
  3. Select "Force timezone"
  4. Choose the timezone to use
